The EHN Practitioner Meeting provides a great opportunity for practitioners and allied services to come together to share information and ideas and to enhance their professional networks. We have a broad range of speakers from a range of complimentary services discussing topical issues; programs and new initiatives.

At our March Meeting we will have two speakers as below (please see agenda below for futher details

Chrissy Andrews – Uniting Harrison Tenancy Assistance and Advocacy Program (TAAP) – Inner East Tenancy Assistance and Advocacy Program (TAAP) helps Victorians who have a private residential tenancy agreement who are experiencing financial disadvantage or family violence (regardless of financial circumstances).This includes helping those in private rental, privately operated rooming houses and caravan parks. TAAP assists these tenants to resolve their possible tenancy issues, maintain tenancies and achieve positive outcomes. 

Poppy Fotiadis and Katie Cameron - Melbourne City Mission Family Reconciliation and Mediation Program (FRMP). FRMP is a state-wide program to assist young people aged 16–25 years that are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Poppy and Kate will explain the FRMP brokerage and how it can be used to help young people overcome barriers related to past and or present trauma. They will be speaking about the various capacity building opportunities on offer through their Brokerage funding and seeking information from participants about local issues, initiatives and potential collaboration between FRMP and the services in the region.
