The plan was developed by government funding provided to the Council to Homeless Persons (CHP) through DHSS and guided by an Executive Advisory Group (EAG), and leaders from across both the SHS and DHHS. The content of the plan reflects the input of consultations held with the SHS and others around the state in late 2017.

DHHS Health Alert : Hepatitis A Outbreak. Vaccination program extended

More cases of hepatitis A have been identified in Victoria. As of 23 November 2018, there were 211 confirmed outbreak cases, 10 probable, 13 possible cases and two deaths. 

The free two-dose hepatitis A vaccination program has been extended to further control the hepatitis A outbreak in Victoria.
