This dynamic one-day workshop for professionals introduces the key concepts of the refugee settlement journey, cultural influences, complex stressors, and the factors that impact on the capacity of refugee families to find and sustain suitable housing in Australia.
This is the Eastern Metropolitan Regions Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) funded training. Specialist Homelessness Services staff working within this region will have priority when booking.
360 Edge is delivering face-to-face ice training for frontline workers across multiple workforces as part of the Victorian Government’s Ice Action Plan.
The training is designed to build the knowledge and skills of frontline workers so they can safely and effectively respond to people affected by ice.
Training sessions will run for half a day and cover de-escalation, managing tricky behaviours, and supporting someone to get help.

The National Workforce Centre for Child Mental Health is a workforce development initiative funded by the Australian Government. The project is led by Emerging Minds and delivered in partnership with the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS), the Australian National University (ANU), the Parenting Research Centre (PRC) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
The project has an Early Intervention and Prevention focus which aims to build workforce capacity to better support children and parents/carers and improve mental health outcomes of children aged 0 – 12 years.
