The EHN Practitioner meetings provide a great opportunity for practitioners and allied services to come together to share information and ideas and to enhance their professional networks. We have a broad range of speakers from a range of complimentary services discussing topical issues; programs and new initiatives.

Speakers

Family Reconciliation an Mediation Program Cassandra de Ruyter. Project Worker – Family Support/FRMP, Melbourne City Mission. FRMP provides brokerage funding which enables young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access a range of therapeutic interventions.

The Orange Door – Angie Dimech, Service System Navigator for Outer Eastern Orange Door. The Orange Door provides help for people experiencing family violence, or who need assistance with the care and wellbeing of children and young people. It brings services together as a partnership to connect people to a range of services that provide ongoing safety and wellbeing supports.

Homelessness Week 2024 – Houses at Parliament 2024 – Jo McDonald, Eastern Homelessness Network Coordinator.
Building on last years event on the steps of Parliament House, The Victorian Homelessness Network (VHN) is again raising awareness about the urgent need for more social and public housing. They're asking you to help fold 60,000 origami houses across the state for Homelessness Week, to highlight the urgent need for Governments to fix the housing crisis and end homelessness. Learn how you and your networks can be involved.
