Australian Dental Health Foundation DENTAL RESCUE DAY

Wednesday 29th November 2017

We have 10 pro-bono dental appointments available (in Mooroolbark) and are now taking referrals.

The Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF) is a registered Australian charity that offers general dental treatment to disadvantaged Australian people genuinely in need of dental care. Volunteer dentists and support staff donate their time and skills to provide treatment at no cost to selected clients at Dental Rescue Days (DRD) held at volunteer dental surgery locations across Australia.

The ADHF State Coordinator liaises with local registered Not-for-Profit (NFP) organisations, to specifically target clients requiring timely dental care and advice. The primary aim of the program is to assist these clients to access dental health services by coordinating with our volunteer practices and dentists. This can enable these clients to improve their dental health, speech, presentation and self-esteem and help them return to being a self-supporting member of the community.
