Our Youth Development team are currently looking for a School Focused Youth Service Coordinator to join our team working with schools and community organisations to support young people who are attending school but are vulnerable to or showing signs of disengagement.

About the role

The Coordinator will work directly with school Principals and wellbeing staff to assist schools to deliver targeted interventions for students at-risk of disengaging and capacity building initiatives for schools to better respond to the often complex needs of these students.

This role is funded by the Department of Education and delivers the interventions according to program guidelines available at www.education.vic.gov.au.

  • Salary from $82,599 per annum (Band 6), plus superannuation
  •  Full Time -Grant Funded - end 31 December 2019
  • Fortnightly RDO available

What you’ll bring to our team

  • Experience and understanding of working with both the education sector and youth/community sector
  • Skills in working with building relationships with key stakeholders to support schools
  • A high attention to detail, experience in managing projects and love of evidenced based practice
  • Qualifications in youth work, community services, education or related discipline
