EHN Practitioner's Network Meetings

The EHN Practitioner meetings will resume on 10th November 2022. 9.30-12 in Ringwood.

The EHN Practitioner meetings provide a great opportunity for practitioners and allied services to come together to share information and ideas and to enhance their professional networks. We have a broad range of speakers from a range of complimentary services discussing topical issues; programs and new initiatives.

At this meeting on November 10th we have a focus on young people. Come along and hear about:

  • EACH’s Integrated Therapeutic Community (ITC) that provides a 12-month residential mental health support service for young people aged 16-25 years old recovering from significant mental health conditions. As well as their Youth Outreach Recovery Support Program (YOPS) that assists young people aged 16-25 years who are experiencing mental health symptoms or significant psychological distress to get back on track and strengthen their ability to better manage their mental health.
  • Creating Connections - The Salvation Army, Uniting, Anchor and FAN offer coordinated services that enable homeless young people to achieve and sustain housing and be socially included.
  • Headspace - Paws for Thought animal therapy group. Being around animals has a positive impact on mental health, so Headspace run an animal therapy group that brings young people together with therapy dogs who love a pat, a cuddle and a chat.
  • Melbourne City Mission – Family Reconciliation & Mediation Program (FRMP) provides brokerage funding which enables young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access a range of therapeutic interventions.

Tickets to this event are essential.
