The Salvation Army Homelessness East is running a Health Promotion day at Gateways on Friday May 13th2022 from 11:30am until 3pm.
This event will provide the opportunity for clients supported by Homelessness agencies within the EMR (irrespective of who they are supported by) to come along to Gateways and received COVID / Flu vaccinations.
Additionally, we will have our Bolton Clarke nurses onsite promoting health including diabetes education and oral health.
In attendance will be a kebab food truck along with a coffee van. Gift vouchers will be given to all in attendance and we have limited taxi vouchers to assist with transport.
Given we are coming into the cooler months and COVID positive cases are still significantly high, it’s a great opportunity for clients to be vaccinated whilst they enjoy a free meal and chat with our nurses regarding health issues.
