Message from Susie Lukis (Statewide Childrens Resource Program)
Due to the current situation, the Children’s Network Meeting on Thursday 16th April, has been cancelled.
While I am not providing face to face outposts, training or agency attendance, I am still available for all other support.
Please note that the Homeless Children’s Brokerage Program is still open and still has money available as at 25.3.20. The same requirements for tax invoices apply.
There are plenty of hard copy resources available from the address below and safe delivery or pick up can be organised. Postage is not an option for these heavy items. The resources are also available on the EHN website
For practitioners, I am still available via email or phone for secondary consults. Please contact me with any queries about clients, access to services/funding available, resources and anything else you are unsure about.
There will be resources and information being loaded onto the EHN website to support practitioners supporting clients at home with their children.
I am very keen to continue to support practitioners who are working with families, in this stressful time for all. If you have any suggestions for how I can do this remotely, to best assist you and your service please let me know.
When we can resume these meetings, I will certainly be doing so and letting the region know.
Please continue to contact me if you have any questions or require any support around children during this very challenging time.
My contact details are email@example.com
Staff from Opening Doors, Women’s Refuges, Family Violence Support agencies, Family Support Services, Police FV Liaison and other agencies who work with families experiencing homelessness and family violence are invited to attend. We love to see familiar faces and new faces are welcome as well so please feel free to invite people you feel may benefit from this meeting.
This network will provide a forum for agency updates, sharing of resource information and practice challenges, discussions around regional themes, opportunities for case discussions and the potential to invite guest speakers as well as possibilities for interagency collaboration and capacity building. Please feel free to bring any brochures/pamphlets/ cards to this meeting.
A light morning tea is provided.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org
Please rsvp to me for catering and seating purposes.
The dates for 2020 are all on Thursdays, 9.30-11.30am, 1st Floor, 291a Maroondah Hwy. If using a GPS, please use 1 Larissa Ave as the address.
