Navigating Family Violence Pathways in the EMR is an introduction to the family violence service system in the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR). This forum is designed for workers who are new to the sector, new to the region or would like a refresher on what services operate in the EMR.

Split into two shorter sessions over two days, this forum will equip participants with an understanding of the Regional Family Violence Partnership and the integrated family violence system in the EMR including referral pathways and resources.

Presentations from key sectors including:

  • Regional Family Violence Partnership
  • Specialist Family Violence Services
  • Indigenous and CALD services
  • Family Violence Prevention
  • Men's Behaviour Change
  • Children's Services
  • Victoria Police

Wednesday 23 June: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about services through a panel discussion examining a case study followed by a Q&A session. Participants will learn from a person with lived experience sharing their journey of navigating the family violence sector.

Thursday 23 June: 10.00 am - 12.30 pm

The second session will explore a selection of services in break out group discussions with sector experts. There will be opportunities to ask questions and network with professionals working with the eastern metropolitan region.

This is a free online event and is only open to workers across the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR).
